I’m Jason Goodworth, a Developer from England, now living in Scotland.
Overview
I’ve been a “Full-Stack” developer for my whole career and know enough HTML, CSS, and Javascript to be dangerous, though most of my time is spent working on the back-end and architecture. These days that means a mix of C#, Python, Go, Java, and Kotlin, or hooking together various parts of our infrastructure and deployment pipeline with a combination of Bicep and CDK.
Back in 2011 I joined a company called CentraStage and helped them take their platform from a two instance self-hosted setup, to a scalable SaaS offering hosted in AWS, now called Datto RMM.
In 2023 I joined a company called 1E, and helped them take their self hosted platform Tachyon into a multi-tenant SaaS deployment in Azure, now owned by Teamviewer and branded Teamviewer DEX.
These days, I’m back in the MSP world again with Inforcer, building out solutions to help people manage and secure their Microsoft tenants.
When I’m not working, I’ll either be out in the hills, or building another shed or workshop at home.
Projects

The Tracker - A system for tracking membership, events, and rider/driver training, used by a selection of IAM groups across the country. Created back in 2010 using Django and PostgreSQL, it’s currently hosted on Digital Ocean and uses Mailgun for email sending and GoCardless to allow members to pay their subscriptions using Direct Debit.

Mull Fiddle Week - Website, booking process, timetabling system and more for the yearly week-long traditional music course, held in Mull. This project was a great opportunity to put technology to use making what was already an amazing course smoother to run and help enhance the ability of the participants to focus on getting the most out of their week.
